Wuzzit Trouble helps develop mathematical conceptual thinking skills. Unlike so many math games that focus on basic computational skills, Wuzzit Trouble aims to help players increase their critical 21st century mathematics competencies. The game is built around the important mathematical concept of integer partitions – the expression of a whole number as a sum of other whole numbers. At the easiest levels of the puzzle, these provide engaging practice in basic arithmetic, leading to arithmetical fluency, but that’s just the start. Integer partitions is a major area of mathematics, still being worked on today by leading mathematicians.

Fractions
Math Tapper Estimating Fractions Students estimate fractions by observing symbols and pictures
Oh No Fractions focuses on one skill – comparing fractions using models.
Fraction Mash lets students insert two pictures then divide those pictures into grids, columns, pie slices, triangles, or rows. Once their pictures have been divided students select the portions of one picture that they want to combine with the other picture. Students' selections of image portions must equal 1 when the two images are combined. Fraction Mash lets students choose how many pieces each picture is divided into.
Zap Zap Fractions is a fun and free iPad app designed to help elementary school students learn about fractions. The app contains clear narrated visual lessons about the basics of fractions. After completing the lessons students can test their skills in recognizing fractions by playing the Zap Zap games.
Virtual Worlds Designed Through Math FogStone Isle app engages students in designing their own virtual worlds through challenging mathematics games in an environment that makes learning active. Neuroscience, pedagogy, and game design are brought together in this free iPad app in which students solve complex math problems adapted to their learning level. Games
Loot Pursuit is a mathematics game designed for middle school students. The free iPad game requires students to know the order of operations to complete many of the math problems in the game.
Reality Basketball Game Download the app to your iPad, print out the PDF file on their website and hold your iPad over the piece of paper. A virtual basketball hoop will pop off the page and you can shoot baskets straight from your iPad. You can teach probability, addition, or more
Axiom is a fun math based iOS app that is free for today. This educational game has players control a ship by tilting their ipad to collect numbers and math signs to solve a equation, similar to the Marble Math games. The game has over 80 levels and gets significantly harder as the levels progress.
GeometrIQ is an interactive game presenting geometrical problems covering wide range of topics such as parallel & perpendicular lines, triangles, circles, quadrilaterals, perimeter and areas and various theorems in each area.
Math Planet contains lots of games that will help students master Common Core math skills. Designed for students in second through eighth grade, it allows users to try out a handful of games for free before purchasing content specific to a particular grade level. Students can have an individual login to keep track of their performance
TowerStorm free iOS app for Game Based Learning in the subjects of Math & Literacy. As w/ any game created by the award winning company DimensionU, this game takes place in a multiplayer 3D virtual world. Players can create their avatar and unlock special power ups as they immerse themselves in a fun 3D world while solving problems in Math/Literacy aligned to Common Core Standards. Best of all, the game tracks a players score and generates detail reports as well as lets a player customize and select what problems they want to encounter (i.e. Algebra, Vocabulary, etc.). Also, TowerStorm has high replay value as each game lasts only 5 minutes and has students trying to answer as many questions correct as they can while trying to score points by changing the color of rings on the Tower.

iFormulas: is a clean, simple, easy to use mathematical formula application. Provides basics for Algebra, Calculus, Geometry or Trigonometry class. It does not give you answers but provides an easy navigational guide. Over 330 different formulas, definitions, laws, properties, etc. 5 Dice app presents students with a number that they have to write an equation for using all of the dice presented to them.
MathDisk is an innovative new site/app (Android/iOS) that can be used for many different aspects of Math (i.e. Algebra, Geometry, graphing calculator, Calculus, and more). The this works is by creating worksheets on the easy to use graphic designer that resembles a draw program w/ lots of tools. However, it's even easier to use on a mobile device w/ a touch screen interface. A finished project can then be embedded into a site or blog and shared w/ others via email or social networks. Support

CK-12 Study Now! is a free iPad app from the Ck-12 Foundation. The free iPad app puts CK-12 Flexbooks (multimedia books) on students’ iPads. Students can browse the app by subject and topic. Each Flexbook has to be downloaded individually to students’ iPads. In some cases CK-12 Flexbooks can be a good alternative to buying textbooks. In other cases they make good supplementary material for your lessons.
3D Math basic equation creation involving problem solving and critical thinking. It allows you to alter your initial choices and think about the possibilities in front of you to solve the problems. It is time based which still makes it difficult for weaker students to engage in.
Sketchometry dynamic geometry system sketchometry allows the user to construct geometric objects and define their dependencies by simply drawing sketches of lines, circles, and points on the screen.
GeoGebra is a dynamic mathematics software for all levels of education that brings together geometry, algebra, spreadsheets, graphing, statistics and calculus in one easy-to-use package. Interactive learning, teaching and evaluation resources created with GeoGebra can be shared. see website also (www.geogebra.org)
