Essentially, all a teacher has to do is have students sign up using the clean and simple interface and assign questions. Students then record their responses using any front-facing camera; they could use an iPad, webcam, or even their phone. Teachers can then provide video feedback to their students within the program. Watch Greg Kulowiec‘s video below on how easy using Recap in the classroom can be.Student responses and feedback are stored privately within the app, where teachers can revisit to get a closer look at each student's individual performance, while gathering data on the entire class. How to Create Digital Quizzes and Surveys Using Kahoot
How to edit a public quiz
This video explores how Kahoot's polling and surveying features can get students reflecting, self-assessing, and figuring out next steps for their learning.
- If you would rather your students don't receive points for getting answers correct, there are two ways you can work around this:
2. You can create your Kahoot as a Survey, where the points system is completely skipped as answers aren't set as right or wrong. In this scenario, your students won't receive personal feedback as to whether they're correct unless you instruct it after the question. Results are still exported in a Spreadsheet.
3. Kahoot's ghost mode gives students the opportunity to play a Kahoot review game against themselves. In ghost mode students measure their progress

Kahoot is designed (on purpose) to show multiple choice questions on a large screen, and students respond by clicking buttons on their devices that correspond to the answers they want to choose. Quizizz takes a different approach. No projector is necessary because players see questions and answer options on their own screens. The question order is randomized for each student, so it’s no easy for players to cheat. With Quizizz, players don’t have to wait for the whole class to answer a question before they continue to the next one.So, Quizizz is player-paced while Kahoot’s pace is determined by the teacher or host. This is the major difference and can be a benefit or a drawback. If you want to pause after each question, then Kahoot is better. The class can stop and discuss after each question, immediately addressing misconceptions. With Quizizz, players zip through questions at their own pace, limiting all discussion to after all questions have been answered. Click here to learn about new folder option called Collections.

Clips Many teachers use portfolios to collect and showcase student work throughout the year. These portfolios demonstrate growth over time, provide a means for authentic assessment, promote communication and reflection, and can give some students an alternative means to demonstrate mastery of skills. While portfolios often reflect long-term projects or activities, they don’t necessarily have to. Small moments, ideas, and “aha’s” happen daily. How can these be captured, reflected and expanded on? The Clips app is for making and sharing videos, incorporating text, voice over, music, and graphics. Using the camera on an iOS device, like iPad, students (or teachers) can capture everyday moments as students work individually or collaboratively.
After the images are collected, they are uploaded into the Clips app. The combined clips are saved to make a video.
Flipgrid - Create grids of questions or topics using text or video and share your questions with whomever you like. Your audience then responds with recorded videos.
